Artist Statement

Welcome to my webpage...

Living the life of an artist is not easy on the ego and creating beautiful works of art develops over time, dedication and passion. I have had the opportunity, luxury and security of a business career to support my artistic goals.  Today, my art consumes the way I live, think and see.

From an early age, I have been interested in antiques and finding unusual treasures. I utilize these objects in many of my narrative still life paintings. I believe that thru "dedicated practice"  I will reach the excellence I so desire.

As an instructor, I am able to inspire others, through workshops, and this has given me another opportunity for creative expression.
